Hello, Crafters.

I have some news I want to share with you, some exciting, some not quite so!

As from Monday 12th April 2021 I shall no longer be doing my daily blog. This hasn’t been an easy decision to make because I love doing my blog. There are two main reasons for this decision but first of all, my plan! I shall be making one new card and blog each week every Wednesday as well as my Sunday video and blog. I feel this is as far back as I can go without actually stopping and gives me plenty of room to build back up again if and when the time is right.

My first reason for this change is that I have been having health issues for the last eighteen months or so, and they are making me tire easily and feel very lethargic. Recently I’ve been helping hubby with a bit of gardening or going for walks to get some exercise and fresh air but it takes time out of my day and I’m struggling to stay on top of things. (Despite numerous tests my consultant can’t find anything wrong with me although my symptoms are saying there is!)

Secondly, I have been offered a wonderful cardmaking opportunity, which I’m very excited about, but it involves learning more techie stuff – ugh!! It’s a hurdle I need to get over by 20th April and if I succeed I’ll be able to share it with you in May.

As well as my two posts each week – Wednesdays and Sundays – I will also keep you fully updated as and when I have news to share with you about Stampin’ Up! promotions. If you have subscribed to my blog you will receive email notification each time I post so you won’t need to check my blog every day.

I’m truly sorry for any disappointment this may cause but I know you’ll understand. Please let me know if you have any questions. May God bless you all.

JanB. xx

    Jan, I love you, lady!

I understand about the slowing down on the blog. I know oh so well how fatigue and health can get in the way. The biggest thing to do, is to take care of yourself and know that you have support with us! I hope the doctors will figure it out, keep at it.

Excited to hear for your card making opportunity! Tech stuff, no worries. Don’t stress, because I know you can do it, and your hubby will be there to help, too.

Many virtual hugs sent your way!!

    Hi Jan,
So sorry to hear of your health issues. You have my full sympathy as my hubby is suffering the same. I do wonder if it isn’t a result of Covid lockdowns etc. We have all had a very complicated year and I think it has impacted on our bodies in ways that we are confused with.
I certainly cannot do my card making as often as I like as other things seem to take over and I am retired!!!

Anyway Jan, you need to focus on your health primarily but to a level which allows you to do what you love and what makes you happy.

Please look after yourself and I will still look forward to your videos as and when you can manage to do them.

God bless you and I will keep you in my prayers.

    Lots of love

I totally understand; your health is far more important than any of this but I will totally miss your daily blog as I look for it first thing every morning. I, also, have health issues and can tell you that health and family are way more important to take care of. Also, you take care of your health and you’ll be able to be back with us daily in no time. Looking forward to your healthy updates.

Dearest Jan. I am so sorry to hear you have health issues and they find a way to resolve them for you. How you have kept up a card a day beats me as it would be stressful and full on. Will miss every day seeing a new card but you have to think about yourself once in a while and your time has come to do just that.
Will still look forward to Wednesday and Sunday. Take care of yourself and hubby.

Hello Jan. So sorry to hear about this. It is no fun having health issues for sure. I will add you to my prayer list. I completely understand about the posting of your cardmaking projects. Whenever there is a new one I shall be there to see it and keep you going. It’s difficult enough these days with Covid and to add a personal health issue on top is mind boggling. I sincerely hope for the best for you & God will make sure you will heal and come back to us as normal. Take good & God bless you both.

Morning Jan. I am saddened to read that your health is still not improving despite having seen specialists and had many tests/investigations. I wish I was closer to hug you tight and offer any help I can, but alas that is not to be for the time being. I have, for the past 15 months, been sending you Healing Energy but now I will double it and also send Guiding Hands to your specialists. Please do not think that you are disappointing us. You have not and never could! You have spoilt your admirers handsomely with daily writings (and I for one eagerly await them) but it is now time, as you have realised Jan, to put yourself first in order to regain your health. I join your admirers and wish you success in your new endeavour and I eagerly await news on this journey you are about to undertake. Hugs to you and Othman, your major support person. Take care; rest; relax and more importantly be kind to yourself. With much love and respect: Mal
