Hello, Crafters.
The mini heatwave we’ve had here in the UK for the past week or so, has now given way to intermittent rain and occasional thunderstorms, although it still remains quite warm. This is very typical summer weather for the UK. I never complain about the weather being too hot because I find being too cold is worse and that’s when I complain! Can’t have it both ways!
Today’s video is a remake of a video I made in 2016. At the time, I thought I had designed something new because I hadn’t seen this fancy fold before! It wasn’t until a few months later that I saw a card that had been made before mine. I can’t remember who it had been made by. All I can remember is that it wasn’t by another demonstrator but someone like Splitcoast Stampers, Trimcraft, or someone similar.
Recently, when I looked back at my original video the measurements I had given were for letter-size cardstock in inches and in metric. As it was one of my early videos, I can only assume I used letter-sized cardstock because it suited A4 cardstock as well! As you know, I eventually worked out how to convert the sizes and I decided now would be a good time to update my original video.
The first card I made was using the Way to Goat Stamp Set. I was very pleased with the finished card but I did start struggling a bit with the fussy cutting! For the video card, I used the Badger Besties Stamp Set which also needed fussy cutting. Fortunately the images were so very much easier than the goats although not quite as humorous!
There is a stamp set with three sheep that will be available in the new Sale-a-bration brochure – it also has a matching set of dies – that I think would suit this card. I don’t like using products that aren’t available for customers to purchase at that time. I know if the boot was on the other foot and I was a customer, I’d find it very frustrating!
Just a quick reminder that the Designer Series Paper Sale is still on until 2nd August. Don’t forget to top up on any that you are getting low on. Also, during this coming week, I will be sending out the new Christmas Mini Catalogue to all my customers. I will be enclosing a letter with the details of the Paper Share I’m organising in conjunction with the new catalogue.
The Paper Share is open to all crafters who live in the UK, the Netherlands, France, Germany and Austria. Unfortunately, these are Stampin’ Up! rules! It doesn’t matter if you’re not a customer of mine or if you’re a Stampin’ Up! demo, if you would like to be part of the paper share please email me your details and I’ll be happy to send a copy of the Paper Share letter.
I hope you have a very blessed Sunday. Please take care and stay safe. Happy crafting.
JanB. xx

Heel erg bedankt, Manon. Ik ben blij dat je dit project leuk vindt. xx
Love the card Jan. The goats are cute, but I’m not too much in fussy cutting. You have done a fantastic job with this one. Your patience turned out awesome. Be well, hope you are better or getting there & TYFS
Many thanks, Claire. Even I was getting bored with the fussy-cutting! If only we had dies for this stamp set! xx
