Hello, Crafters.
Today’s video was requested by a customer of mine named Melanie and it isn’t a fancy fold card. She asked if I’d make a video demonstrating the Classic Cloche Stamp Set and the Cloche Shaker Domes. Once I started playing with this set I couldn’t stop. They are so amazingly easy since I learned a great tip from Linda Heller who said to put a sheet of Window Sheet (acetate) between the image and the sequins! It’s such a great tip and makes the sequins move so much easier!
The first card I made is the Pool Party card which I used a piece of the Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper (DSP) for the top layer and a piece of Peaceful Place DSP behind the painted image. The image is from the Classic Cloche Stamp Set and is a three step stamping image which is amazingly easy to line up. I used Pear Pizzazz and Pool Party Inks to colour the image and used the Subtle Shimmer Sequins inside the dome. I made the bow using the Pool Party Sheer Ribbon.
The second card is the Misty Moonlight card where I used a left over fussy cut snowman which was from the Sale-a-bration Penguin Friends DSP. For the top layer I used a design from Whimsy & Wonder DSP and I adhered the snowman onto a piece of Peaceful Place DSP. The ribbon is the White Glittered Organdie Ribbon. I used last year’s Snowflake Sequins for inside the shaker.
The third card is the Polished Pink card and I used some Whimsy & Wonder DSP for the top layer. I chose the snowman image form the Snowman Season Stamp Set. After stamping the image with Black Memento Ink I coloured it with Light Pool Party and Light & Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends. The ribbon is Polished Pink Sheer Ribbon. Like the second card, I used last year’s Snowflake Sequins for the shaker.
During the video I made two cards. The first one was the Basic White card with the snowman. The top layer DSP is from Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP and the stamped image was coloured with the Dark Real Red, Light Old Olive and Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends. I used this year’s Subtle Shimmer Sequins for the shaker.
The fifth card was the second card I made during the video. The top layer DSP is from Heartwarming Hugs and the stamped, die-cut image has been adhered to a piece of Peaceful Place DSP. Again, I used this year’s Subtle Shimmer Sequins for the shaker. For both of the video cards, I made double bows using the Real Red Sheer Ribbon.
I hope you enjoy today’s shaker card and give it a go. It’s so much easier following Linda Heller’s idea! I hope you enjoy a very blessed day and I look forward to being with you next time. Happy crafting.
JanB. xx
