Hello, Crafters.
Today Stampin’ Up! are launching the March promotion called Co-ordination. I’m pleased that during March there are four different sets of dies you can purchase which co-ordinate with four of the Sale-a-bration (SAB) free products. These are as follows: So Hoppy Together Stamp Set – Hop Around Framelits; Lasting Lily Stamp Set – Lily Framelits; Hello, Cupcake Stamp Set – Call Me Cupcake; Painted Seasons Stamp Set – Four Seasons Framelits. This week I have shared cards I’ve made using the frogs and the cupcakes. Today’s project uses the seasons, which leaves me the lily to use and share.
My colour scheme today is Pool Party and Lemon Lime Twist. I stamped four flowers and four branches with leaves, and then used dies to cut them out. The Designer Series Paper (DSP) I’ve used as my top layer is from the Painted Seasons DSP. The Painted Seasons Stamp Set and the co-ordinating DSP are available as a level 2 SAB free product if your order is for €120/£90 or more. After I had adhered the DSP to a Whisper White Cardstock layer, I wrapped a piece of the gorgeous Lemon Lime Twist Mini Ruffled Ribbon around the centre, horizontally.
I chose the sentiment from the Forever Lovely Stamp Set, and stamped it using Pool Party Ink onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (CS). Next I used the everyday Label Punch to punch out the sentiment, as well as a plain Pool Party CS label, too! I cut the Pool Party Label in two. Using Tombow I adhered one piece under the left-hand side, and the other piece under the right-hand side! I used Dimensionals to adhere this in the centre of the card. Next I arranged the three flowers and branches, and adhered them using more Dimensionals. To complete the flowers, I added six small Basic Pearls in the centre of each flower.
To decorate the inside of the card I added a layer of Whisper White CS. I adhered the fourth stamped and die cut flower and branch. I painted the centre of the flower using my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen. This is the first time – as far as I remember – that Stampin’ Up! has offered dies for purchase to co-ordinate with SAB stamp sets. I think it’s a great idea and hope it’s a great success, so they do it again in future!
That’s about it from me today. I hope you have a fabulous Friday, and I look forward to bein back with you tomorrow. In the meantime, happy crafting.
JanB. xx
